Amateur Photographer in the Making

So I have been taking a continuing education course on photography and am learning how to actually use my camera. I got it as a Christmas gift from my parents last year and had no idea how to truly use it. I bought a few books on photography and stumbled my way through using the priority modes (in between the auto and manual modes). I have taken a few really nice pictures, but didn't really understand how I did it. This class has helped me understand those pictures now.

So I plan on taking a lot more photographs in the future and hopefully I will be able to share some of them here. I am hoping that photography can become one of my new hobbies. I have really enjoyed it so far and even though I haven't had as much time to put into the assignments I have had I plan on this just being the beginning. I plan on taking some other classes in the future and doing lots of experimentation on my own. It should make for an interesting ride.

Here are a few of what I thought were nice pictures I took before the class. So I think I should be able to take pictures of quality more often. :-)

Neglect

I have been neglectful to this blog. It has been over a month since my last post. I have been very busy with some things I have going on right now, but I hope to start posting here more often. I have a lot of things in work that I want to share and hopefully I will be able to start soon. So stay tuned for a new and improved Braveheart blog!!
