GIMP Experimenting

I have been playing around with GIMP as I try to learn more about finishing digital photos. I don't really know what I'm doing, but I have already figured out a few things. Here is an example of what I have done so far.

The after image still isn't as good as I would want it to be, but you can see that it is a lot better than the original.

Kanye West Got Served on American Idol

I am not an American Idol fan, but for some reason the wife and I started watching this season. Well last night I saw the best performance I have seen in a while. Kris Allen, one of the final three contestants sang his own rendition of Kanye West's "Heartless" and dude straight ripped it to shreds. Once he gets off the show he needs to put that on wax!!
